The Bonbon Café

DW: Down the street from Joy Machines bike shop is the handsome Bonbon Café, already bustling with customers when we arrived. We chose to sit outside in the cool shade on wrought iron chairs and ordered breakfast sandwiches that were delicious. Our waitresses, Diana and Nicki, were very friendly and interested in our trip west. It’s wonderful to me that a fully loaded touring bike generates good conversations and feelings between people. Had we arrived by car or on foot I doubt that much would have been said past ordering our food. These two women had such good positive energies and smiles it was like getting tipped in reverse.
